The Maui Kamaole AOAO (Association of Apartment Owners) manages the property according to governing documents, including a set of House Rules designed to create a well-maintained, peaceful, and safe environment for all owners and guests. The nine-member elected volunteer Board provides direction to the site manager who supervises office personnel, as well as a large, dedicated landscape and maintenance crew. We do not engage in renting or selling units. We maintain a front desk for property management, security, and information purposes only. Our office does not provide general guest services.
The “Maui Kam” Social Committee coordinates activities for owners and renters who regularly winter here. Friday morning coffee at the pool, a golf tournament, water exercise classes, and pot-luck dinners are just a few of the happenings that enhance the sense of community.
Many short-term vacation renters return to Maui Kamaole year after year because it feels like a home away from home. They frequently join our family of owners.
Some owners have made Maui Kamaole their permanent home while others come to winter here for extended periods of time. Some owners rent their apartments when they are not on island and others do not. Some units are owned as investment property by absentee owners. The largest portion of owners have permanent addresses in California, Washington, Oregon, and the western provinces of Canada.
