The Maui Kamaole Owners’ Association and its management ARE NOT involved in renting condominiums. Individual owners may choose to rent out their condo to visitors. Many owners contract with one of the vacation-rental companies on island. There is no official Maui Kamaole vacation-rental agency. Some owners book their rentals directly.
Hawaii law requires that all renters have an on-island contact. This person may be with the rental agency, the owner, or someone else living on Maui. They will be your contact for anything you need related to the condo during your stay. Make sure you know how to reach them in case you get locked out, cannot operate an appliance, have concerns about cleanliness, or have other issues within the condo. The staff in the on-site Maui Kamaole office cannot address concerns inside any privately owned unit.
Before you rent, make sure you have read and understand the Maui Kamaole Code of Conduct. Maui Kamaole’s rules do not allow large gatherings, they restrict noise, and limit specific activities at the pool. We want our guests to appreciate the low-key, peaceful atmosphere. If you would be unhappy with our restrictions, we encourage you to rent elsewhere.
Guests at Maui Kamaole must register so we always know who is on property. This is not only required by law but is also a common-sense measure for security and emergency situations. The owner or agent will pre-register you. Once on property, you must confirm your arrival and register your vehicle.
